Thanks to a first collaboration with Jean Boggio and Astello which gave birth to a sumptuous travel cabinet, the idea of creating a complete series of decorative locks immediately appealed to the jeweler-goldsmith and Fontaine.
Maison Fontaine, a locksmith of decorative art, and Astello by Thierry Massant, cabinetmaker, gave carte blanche to Jean Boggio, storyteller and artisan jeweler, to create a unique piece of exception: a nomad cabinet combining their three know-how . The result is a true ode to the traditional codes of French savoir-faire, tinged with a timeless modernity.
In the heart of Paris, opposite to the Louvre Museum in Rue de Rivoli, Maison Fontaine, the oldest artistic locksmith in Europe, offers a collection of exceptional wealth with over 20,000 models of styles spanning from the Middle-Ages to today, that is considered a true museum of hardware in its own rights.
