Jean Puiforcat

Son of Louis-Victor Puiforcat, Jean Puiforcat (1897-1945) began to work in the family firm of goldsmiths in 1918.
It was under his direction and thanks to his modern creations in the avant-garde tendency of the
immediately identifiable style that the Puiforcat goldsmith, established in 1820 in the Marais district
of Paris by his grandfather Émile Puiforcat, made its fame between the wars.
