Art Nouveau

Art Nouveau was an artistic movement of the end of the 19th century and the begniing of 20th.

In France, Art Nouveau was also called the Style de Nouilles, literally “Noodle Style”, by its critics
because of the characteristic arabesque forms, or also the “Metro style” because of the
Entrances to the Parisian Underground Railways designed in 1900 by Hector Guimard.
