The genius, Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann (1879-1933), was one of the greatest masters of decorative arts in the 20th century. He introduced "classical modernity" into furniture making. His talent was revealed during the International Show of Decorative Arts of 1925, where he showed a true "Ruhlmann style", which is both sumptuous and measured.
